一、您先请

根据我们的思维，您是You，先是first，请是please，“您先请”不是You first, please！也不是You go first！

为什么？

这是因为中西文化不同造成的。“You go first”是一个祈使句，而祈使句在英文里也叫命令句，You go first有命令的意思，会让受话人听了很不舒服。

为了表示尊重，“您先请”在英语里会说“After you”，即在您之后，言下之意是，您走不走您自己决定，我等会再走。我并没有要指挥您要怎么怎么样做的意思。

Here comes the bus. After you, please!

公交车来了。请您先上。

After you, your excellency.

阁下，您先请。（your excellency 可翻译为阁下，总理阁下，大人）

二、您慢走

您是you，慢是slowly，走是walk，“您慢走”不是You walk slowly！也不是Please walk slowly！

我们说的“您慢走”不是真要对方放慢脚步，而是离别时的一句道别语或祝福语。

所以，我们可以根据不同的场景说不同的话：

（一）Take care / Please take care

您多保重

Take care, my love.

保重，我的爱人。

Bye for now! Take care, sweetie.

再见！保重，亲爱的。

Please take care, dad!

爸爸，保重！

（二）Have a safe trip home

一路平安

You are welcome to come back any time. Have a safe trip home.

欢迎你随时回来。祝你一路平安。

（三）Thanks for dropping by

谢谢您顺路来看我

Thanks for dropping by. Let’s get together again sometime.

谢谢你顺路来看我。我们找个时间再聚聚。

（四）Have a good / nice trip

如果遇到台阶时可以提醒对方：Mind your step（英式）或Watch your step（美式）小心脚下。
